11th hole Par 4 Men's 298metres Ladies 236metres The 11th hole was inspired by the rock wall that was already dividing up the paddock. Whilst I was trying to qualifying for the British Open at North Berwick, Scotland. I played a very short par4 that had the fairway down one side of the fairway then the green was on the other. It was a 4 iron and a chip over the wall, the green was against the rock wall. Whereas here we have made the wall come into play with the tee shot and a pulled shot to the left of the green will be having the wall in the backswing. My advise on how to play this hole is to hit the tee shot about 200metres. That will put you in the middle of the fairway just short of the fairway bunkers on the right. This will leave you a short pitch to a green that slopes right to left and back to front.
