Moonah Links is a very demanding links course with many fairway bunkers placed in the fairways and on both sides designed by Peter Thomson. 

It is a thinking man's course. You must know the distance that you will drive the ball from the tee, then place the tee shot accordingly. Moonah Links is definitely not a course that you just blaze away. The greens are raised making it difficult to run the ball up a large slope in front of the greens.

The drive from Melbourne takes about 90 minutes.
